MKS7 series (Inverter-driven NB)
Unique soundproofed structure of the brake section drastically reduces jarring metallic sounds during braking. (Reduction of 10 to 15 dB(A) compared with conventional products.)
Non-asbestos brake linings used from 1990 ensure non-polluting products.
MKC7 series (Standard NB)
Unique soundproofed structure of brake section drastically reduces brake operation sounds. (Reduction of approximately 10 dB(A) compared with conventional products.) Unique brake control system uses only 3 wires.

MKE6 series (Standard EB)
Very simple construction with a compact DC-excited electromagnetic brake built into the non-driving side of the standard motor.
Strong magnetic force by DC is used for the all-important braking function

1. The power supply specifications on the table above marked with *1 are of the standard specifications including both motors and brake sections.

A winding change is required in all series.
[Brake]
a) MKS7: Install a transformer on the primary side of the power module for the brake.
b) MKC7: A brake coil change is required. The power module is common to products in the 200V class.
c) MKE6: A change is made to a power module for the brakes in the 400V class. The brake coil is common to products in the 200V class.
