Cable jointing for traffic signals.

Using LLFA Tape as a cable jointing solution has helped the traffic signals industry improve performance while reducing waste.

A leading “traffic-signals” contractor has implemented the use of LLFA Tape for making joints between D-Loop wire and signal cable. These wires have to be replaced regularly. In the past the joint was simply cut-off and thrown away (often as hazardous waste). Now with LLFA, the joint can be opened, and once the wires are replaced, it can be easily remade.

This type of approach reduces cost and environmental impact, while delivering an effective water tight jointing solution.
