Miki Pulley POSI-LOCK
Mechanical shaft locks use tapers
These are mechanical shaft locks that use tapers. The wedging action of the taper surface when the clamping bolt is locked thoroughly couples the shaft and hub. The POSI-LOCK line-up includes the PSL-K (which has a collar and a small inside-to-outside ratio useful in making smaller diameter components), the PSL-G (which is highly compatible with non-Miki products), and the PSL-D (which has a medium-weight design, low surface pressure, and enables smaller and lighter mounts). Each is available in a simple anti-rust specification that uses electroless nickel plating as well as a stainless steel specification.
Application
Machine tools/Pumps/Molding machines/Printing machines/Palletizing robots/Tools and jigs
PSL-K Models
These are mechanical shaft locks that use tapers. Tightening the clamping bolt thoroughly couples the shaft and hub.The wedge effect is augmented by a groove installed in the inner sleeve, allowing high transmission torque to be achieved. There are many variations, including a simple anti-rust type and stainless steel specifications.
PSL-G Models
These are mechanical shaft locks that use tapers and are highly compatible with equipment from other manufacturers. Tightening the clamping bolt thoroughly couples the shaft and hub.A standard type (steel-specification) and a simple anti-rust specification (electroless nickel plating) are available.
PSL-D Models
These are mechanical shaft locks designed for medium loads that can keep surface pressure low. Tightening the clamping bolt thoroughly couples the shaft and hub.A standard type (steel-specification) and a simple anti-rust specification (electroless nickel plating) are available.
