Stainless Steel Roller Chain (AS)
Uses precipitation hardened stainless steel for the pins and rollers, giving AS Series 1.5x the maximum allowable load of SS Series.
However, the AS Series has slightly less corrosion resistance than the SS Series.

Uses precipitation hardened heat treated stainless steel for the pins and rollers, giving it 1.5x the maximum allowable load of SS Series. However, the AS Series has slightly less corrosion resistance than the SS Series.
Usable in low and high temperature ranges
Usable in a vast range of temperatures, from -20ºC to 400ºC.
* Uses precipitation hardened stainless steel and so is magnetic.
