TSUBAKI Plastic Top Chain
TPM-SN Series
Uses a special sprocket to suppress polygonal movement during engagement for stable conveyance.
- TPM-SN: Stainless steel pin type (with float-preventive tabs)
- TPM-P-SN: Plastic pin type (with float-preventive tabs)
Low noise
Uses the same engagement principle as TSUBAKI Silent Chain (pitch = 19.05mm, 1/2 the pitch of conventional top chain). This greatly reduces conveyor noise compared to conventional chain.
- 14dB(A) less than TPS826
- 4dB(A) less than TPM826
- Using the TP-IR60 on the return roller can further reduce noise by 3dB(A).
Structure
* Only the plastic connecting pin (for connecting two strands of chain) is orange. The plastic base chain pins are white.

Notice: Integration of ULF Series with ALF Series
- We will be integrating ULF Series Plastic Top Chain with ALF Series on orders from April 2017.
- We will be integrating ALF Series with ULF Series Plastic Modular Chain and Plastic Block Chain on orders from June 2017.
- Contact a Tsubaki representative for more information regarding ULF Series after integration.
* ALF Series (ultra-low friction and wear resistant series) dramatically reduces the amount of wear debris generated from sliding with running rails (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) under non-lubricated conditions while maintaining the same ultra low coefficient of friction coefficient as the conventional ULF Series.
