TSUBAKI Stainless Steel RS Attachment Chain
LSC Series

A stainless steel chain with special engineering plastic sleeves inserted between the pins and bushes, providing lube-free, long life operation in dry/wet environments and underwater.

Contributes to longer chain life for stainless steel chain in washdown processes and in the food industry, where water is often used, sanitary industries, drug packaging industries, and a wide array of other industries.

Features and Points of Caution

• Has 4x the wear life of SS Series, and contributes to a longer operating life for stainless steel chain (in-house testing conditions).
• Operating temperature range for stainless steel rollers is -20ºC to 100ºC, and -20ºC to 80ºC for plastic rollers.
• Parts are slightly magnetic from the cold forming process.
• Engineering plastic rollers used with LSC Series may suffer premature wear when used in contact with water or underwater. We do not recommend their use in these environments.

Points of Caution when Disassembling and Connecting LSC Series Chain

• There is an engineering plastic sleeve (black pipe) between the pins and bushes.
• Be careful that the sleeve does not fall out when disassembling the chain, and always be sure that the engineering plastic sleeve is inserted between pins and bushes when connecting.
• Regularly clean away any black wear debris that may be generated.
